Most sectors led by insurance, IT and textile, ended lower on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Sunday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index lost 30.10 points or 0.45 per cent to settle at 6,554.
The Shariah-based DSES index decreased 5.56 points or 0.38 per cent to 1,442, while the blue-chip index DS30 lost 5.44 points or 0.02 per cent to 2,435.
The DSE turnover stood so far at Tk 393 crore, down from Tk 102 crore.
Of the issues traded, 58 advanced, 280 declined, and 41 remained unchanged.
