IT stocks on Tuesday attracted investors to the Dhaka Stock Exchange.
Almost every sector closed steady. Large-cap issues, including financials, were in negative territory.
At the end of the day’s trading, benchmark index DSEX lost 8.71 points or 0.12 per cent to 6,917.
The Shariah-based DSES index lost 3.54 points or 0.23 per cent to 1,495. Meanwhile, the blue-chip index DS30 shed 9.24 or 0.36 per cent 2,536.
