Lowest dividend declared MIDAS after 2003

Listed Non-Bank financing Company MIDAS Financing Limited has declared lowest dividends after 2003 for the year 2021.

In a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Thursday, MIDAS Financing Limited Board of Directors has recommended a 2 per cent which was 1 per cent Cash and 1 per cent stock dividend to its shareholders for the year, while the record date for Cash dividend has been set as June 29.

The Stock Dividend is subject to approval of shareholders in the AGM and subsequent approval of the BSEC. Record date for entitlement of Stock Dividend will be notified later after getting approval from BSEC.

The Company has also reported Consolidated Earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 0.59, Consolidated Net asset value (NAV) per share of Tk 11.76 and Consolidated Net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of Tk 1.32 for the year ended December 31, 2021 as against restated Tk 0.81, Tk 11.41 and Negative Tk 0.47 respectively for the same period of the previous year.

MIDAS Financing Limited had declared as 5 per cent dividend for the previous year. The price moved between Tk 12.20 and Tk 25.80 throughout the last year.
