Most sectors led by financial institutions closed down on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Wednesday.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark index DSEX lost 21 points or 0.31 per cent to 6,750.
The Shariah-based index DSES lost 4 points or 0.28 per cent to 1,456. Meanwhile, the blue-chip index DS30 shed 1.6 points or 0.06 per cent to 2,469.
