Most sectors, including insurance, textile and energy, on Monday declined on the Dhaka Stock Exchange.
On the flip side, the bank, pharmaceuticals and IT sectors ended marginally up.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DSEX index lost 28 points or 0.40 per cent to 7,060.
The Shariah-based DSES index dropped 3 points or 0.20 per cent to 1,519. Meanwhile, the blue-chip index shed 7 points or 0.30 per cent to 2,597.
