Cement and ceramic sectors stocks on Sunday gained most on the Dhaka Stock Exchange.
Among other major sectors, jute, insurance and tannery industries were down.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DSEX index gained 97.58 points or 1.46 per cent to 6,765.
Shariah-based DSES index was up 17.77 points or 1.23 per cent to 1,453, while the blue-chip index DS30 added 38.08 points or 1.57 per cent to 2,463.
