Bank, insurance and textile stocks ended higher on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Monday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark index DSEX gained 19.32 points or 0.30 per cent to 6,388.

The Shariah-based index DSES added 1.74 points or 0.12 per cent to 1,401. Meanwhile, the blue-chip index DS30 gained 3.86 points or 0.16 per cent to 2,350.
The DSE turnover stood so far at Tk 836 crore.

Of the issues traded, 163 advanced, 179 declined, and 35 remained unchanged.
