Most sectors led by IT, NBFIs, and insurance, ended lower on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) Wednesday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index gained 10 points or 0.16 per cent to settle at 6,584.
The Shariah-based DSES index added 4 points or 0.34 per cent to 1,447, while the blue-chip index DS30 gained 8 points or 0.36 per cent to 2,440.
The DSE turnover stood so far at Tk 529 crore, down from Tk 792 crore.
Of the issues traded, 130 advanced, 185 declined, and 65 remained unchanged.
