Dhaka stocks closed higher on Tuesday led by pharmaceutical, textile and engineering stocks.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DESX index gained 71.31 points or 1.02 per cent to 6,997.
The Shariah-based DSES index gained 15.60 points or 1.05 per cent to 1,497. Meanwhile, the blue-chip index DS30 added 29.41 points or 1.14 per cent to 2,588.
