Pragati Life Insurance Limited has declared a 35 per cent cash dividend for 2021 to its shareholders.
The board recommended the dividend in a meeting on Wednesday, said the company in a statement.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for June 8 to approve the proposed dividend. The record date for the share entitlement is May 10, 2022.
The company’s earnings per share (EPS) was Tk 5.72 in 2021, an increase of 40 per cent from Tk 4.07 recorded in the previous year.
The company's net operating cash flow per share was Tk 12.09, up from Tk 7.53 during the period.
On December 31, 2021, the company's net asset value per share was Tk 57.32.
