Robi declares highest ever dividend for 2022

Robi Axiata, the country's second largest telecom operator, has declared a 7 per cent cash dividend for the year 2022, which will be the highest in the company’s history after incorporation.

This declaration came from its board meeting on Thursday. This publicly traded company reported earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 0.35 in the last year. Its EPS was Tk 0.34 for the year ended December 31, 2021.

The multinational company’s net asset value (NAV) per share stood at Tk 12.82 for the year ended on December 31, 2022. Its NAV per share was Tk 12.64 for the year ended on December 31, 2021.

Robi's net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) was Tk 7.12 for 2022, while it was Tk 6.22 for the year ended on December 31, 2021.

To determine the eligible shareholders for the dividend, the company has set the record date for March 13, and the final approval of the dividend will be secured at an annual general meeting (AGM) dated April 25.
