Most sectors led by bank, textile and telecommunication, ended lower on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) Monday.
At close, the benchmark DSEX index lost 23 points or 0.35 per cent to settle at 6,638 after rally in the previous session.
The Shariah-based DSES index dropped 5 points or 0.34 per cent to 1,454, while the blue-chip index DS30 lost 6 points or 0.26 per cent to 2,451.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 557 crore, down from Tk 643 crore.
Of the issues traded, 91 advanced, 234 declined, and 56 remained unchanged.
