Most sectors led by NBFIs, IT, and, textile ended higher on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Thursday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index gained 55 points or 0.84 per cent to settle at 6,662.
The Shariah-based DSES index increased 10 points or 0.72 per cent to 1,464, while the blue-chip index DS30 gained 14 points or 0.57 per cent to 2,478.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 754 crore, up from Tk 605 crore.
Of the issues traded, 300 advanced, 55 declined, and 25 remained unchanged.
