Dhaka stocks continued to slump amid dull trade on Sunday, the first session of the week.
Bears dominated the trading as some investors preferred to stay sidelines.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DSEX index shed 78 points or 1.14 per cent to close at 6,773.
Shariah-based DSES index declined 13 points or 0.90 per cent to 1,429 while the blue-chip index DS30 lost 26 points or 1.02 per cent to 2,576.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 837 crore.
Of the issues traded, 66 advanced, 291 declined, and 15 remained unchanged.
