Stocks edge higher at open

Dhaka stocks opened marginally higher but remained volatile on Wednesday.

The market swung between red and green in the morning.

In first 40 minutes into the trade, the benchmark DSEX index declined 7 points or 0.10 per cent to 6,947.

Shariah-based DSES index slipped 3 points or 0.23 per cent to 1,464 while the blue-chip index DS30 lost 6 points or 0.23 per cent to 2,599.
