Stocks end higher

Dhaka stocks closed higher on Thursday amid volatility. 

At the day’s trading, the benchmark DSEX index added 89.1 points or 1.3 per cent to 6,936. Shariah-based DSES index gained 21.1 points or 1.47 per cent to 1,458 while the blue-chip index DS30 also gained 46 points or 1.77 per cent to 2,635.

Of the issues traded, 208 advanced, 118 declined and 48 remained unchanged.
