All sectors led by cement, IT and, insurance ended lower on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Monday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index lost 72.49 points or 1.10 per cent to settle at 6,482.
The Shariah-based DSES index decreased 13.54 points or 0.93 per cent to 1,428, while the blue-chip index DS30 lost 25.31 points or 1.03 per cent to 2,409.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 964 crore, up from Tk 393 crore.
Of the issues traded, 14 advanced, 347 declined, and 19 remained unchanged.
