Dhaka stocks continued to fall sharply amid high volatility on Tuesday.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DSEX index shed 76 points or 1.08 per cent to close at 7,020.
Shariah-based DSES index lost 20 points or 1.32 per cent to 1,504, while the blue-chip index DS30 slipped 22 points or 0.84 per cent to 2,656.
Out of the 376 issues traded, 87 advanced, 254 declined, and 35 remained unchanged.
