Dhaka stocks opened flat on Monday, a day after sharp fall triggered by fuel price hike and transport strike.
In the first 30 minutes into the trade, the benchmark DSEX index lost 9 points or 0.13 per cent to 6,846.
Shariah-based DSES index dropped 0.69 point or 0.04 per cent to 1,443 while the blue-chip index DS30 slipped nearly 2 points or 0.07 per cent to 2,597.
