Dhaka stocks opened on a negative note on Thursday after the rally in the early morning.
Investors went for booking profits on the previous surges, dealers said.
In the first hour into the trade, the benchmark DSEX index lost 27.34 points or 0.37 per cent to 7323.7
The Shariah-based DSES index shed 5.2 points or 0.32 per cent to 1595. The blue-chip comprising DS30 index was down 18.87 points or 0.67 per cent to 2768.9.
