Dhaka stocks opened in red on Thursday in tandem with the previous session's sharp fall.
In the first 50 minutes into the trade, the benchmark DSEX index shed 23 points or 0.33 per cent to 6,894.
Shariah-based DSES index declined 5 points or 0.35 per cent to 1,446 while the blue-chip index DS30 lost 12.5 points or 0.47 per cent to 2,618.
