Most sectors led by IT, insurers, and textile and engineering ended lower on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Wednesday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index shed 38.52 points or 0.60 per cent to 6,277.

Shariah-based DSES index decreased 9.21 points or 0.66 per cent to 1,378, while the blue-chip index DS30 lost 24.16 points or 1.06 per cent to 2,241.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 1066 crore.

Of the issues traded, 81 advanced, 214 declined, and 85 remained unchanged.
