Dhaka stocks opened sharply lower on Sunday in line with the previous session's steep fall.
In the first hour of the trade, the benchmark DSEX index shed 43 points or 0.64 per cent to 6,808.
Shariah-based DSES index dropped nearly 11 points or 0.76 per cent to 1,431 while the blue-chip index DS30 declined 19 points or 0.73 per cent to 2,583.
