Dhaka stocks fell sharply on Sunday amid lower volume of trade.
The benchmark DSEX index shed nearly 85 points or 1.23 per cent to close at 6,783.
Shariah-based DSES index dropped 19 points or 1.30 per cent to 1,443, while the blue-chip index DS30 lost 38 points or 1.49 per cent to 2,547.
The DSE turnover stood at 786 crore.
Of the issues traded, 87 advanced, 266 declined, and 25 remained unchanged.
