Dhaka stocks ended in green on Thursday led by the IT, textile and banking sectors.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DSEX index gained 38 points or 0.57 per cent to close at 6,668.
Two other indexes also opened higher with the DSE30 index, comprising blue chips, adding 9 points or 0.39 per cent to 2425 while the DSE Shariah Index (DSES) gained 5 points or 0.41 per cent to 1,435.
Trading activities declined further as the turnover stood at just around Tk 1,061 crore.
On the flip side, paper, jute and tannery sectors fell significantly.
Of the issues traded, 193 advanced, 147 declined, and 39 remained unchanged.
