DSE slips into red

All the sectors, led by NBFIs, textile and IT fell on Dhaka Stocks Exchange (DSE) on Monday.

The benchmark DSEX index shed 45.05 points or 0.71 per cent to settle at 6,258.

The Shariah-based DSES index lost 8.59 points or 0.62 per cent to 1,368 while the blue-chip index DS30 dropped by 21.96 points or 0.97 per cent to 2,237.

The DSE turnover stood at Tk 108 crore.

Of the issues traded, 103 advanced, 211 declined, and 66 remained unchanged.
