Dhaka stocks gained for the second straight session on Wednesday driven by insurance and engineering issues.
At the end of the day’s trading, the Benchmark DSEX index gained 19.15 points or 0.27 per cent to 7,016.
The Shariah-based DSES index gained 6.50 points or 0.43 per cent to 1,503. Meanwhile, the blue-chip DS30 gained 4.20 or 0.16 per cent to 2,592.
