Share price of Islami Commercial Insurance Company gained by 33 per cent to Tk 13.30 topping the gainer chart on the debut trading.
Orion Infusion was the top loser with a reduction of Tk 54 in share price compared Thursday. On Sunday, shares of the company were traded for Tk 666.3, while on Thursday, they were traded for Tk 720.3.
Top ten gainers
Islami Commercial Insurance Company, which started trading on the very first day on Sunday, saw a 33 per cent growth in the price as the circuit breaker rule will be applied from the second day of trading.
The adjusted opening price of the company on the first day was fixed at Tk 12.10. However, the company's share price rose by Tk 1.20 or 9.92 per cent at Tk 13.30. The company has a total market capitalisation of Tk 61.28 crore.
Apex Foods was in second place reaching Tk 334.4 per share with a 7.97 per cent growth, whereas Aramit held third place reaching Tk 307.2 with a 7.63 per cent growth.
Posting 7.21 per cent and 4.30 per cent rose, Eastern Cables and Apex Footwear were in fourth and fifth place respectively. Meanwhile, their shares were sold at Tk 206.6 and TK 283.3 respectively.
Ambee Pharmaceuticals sold its shares at the highest price on the list trading shares at Tk 574.6, which is 4.03 per cent higher than the previous day's Tk 552.3 per share price.
The stock price of Rangpur Foundry and Bangladesh Lamps were 3.93 and 3.74 per cent higher respectively than Thursday.
Sinobangla Industries stock price reached Tk 63.9 with 3.06 per cent growth, while Bangladesh Autocars Ltd saw 2.93 per cent growth reaching Tk 140.2 per share.
Top ten losers
Ten companies that saw the highest decline considering the previous day’s closing price on Sunday were all below minus 3 per cent and Orion Infusion was the top loser with a change of 7.49 per cent in stock price.
Monno Agro & General Machinery lost 7.05 per cent, Monno Ceramic Industries 5.71 per cent and Kohinoor Chemicals Company (Bangladesh) lost 4.67 from the previous day.
The other six companies are Sonali Aansh Industries, Northern Jute Manufacturing, BDCOM Online, Bangladesh Welding Electrodes, Genex Infosys and BD Thai Food & Beverage, posting a decline by 4.58 per cent, 3.32 per cent, 3.03 per cent, 3.01 per cent, 2.7 per cent and 2.65 per cent correspondingly.
Top ten traded
Among the top 10 companies in terms of transactions, Intraco Refueling Station was on top with an exchange of 50 lakh shares of Tk 22.96 crore.
Shares of Monno Ceramic Industries were traded for Tk 22.92 crore and 16.91 lakh shares were exchanged. It was the second highest in the last three months. Bashundhara Paper Mills was traded for Tk 17.78 crore with an exchange of 21.89 lakh shares.
Apex Foods and Genex Infosys were traded for Tk 12.06 crore and Tk 10.48 crore respectively. Monno Agro & General Machinery exchanged 1.24 lakh shares and Gemini Sea Food exchanged 2.21 lakh shares for Tk 9.96 crore and Tk 9.41 crore respectively.
Orion Pharma was traded for Tk 7.73 crore exchanging 9.03 lakh shares making it eighth on the list. Bangladesh Shipping Corporation raised Tk 7.24 crore in trading 6.18 lakh while Advent Pharma traded Tk 6.63 crore.
