Dutch-Bangla Bank on Monday signed an agreement with the Bangladesh Bank for the collection of government revenue and taxes through the automated challan system, reads a press release.
Bangladesh Bank's General Manager (Accounts and Budget) Md Forkan Hossain and Dutch-Bangla Bank's Managing Director and CEO Abul Kashem Md Shirin signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Ahmed Jamal, deputy governor of the Bangladesh Bank, was present as the chief guest in the programme.
Under this agreement, revenue and taxes can easily be paid through the automated challan system (ACS) from any branches of Dutch-Bangla Bank. These services are also available through Bank’s Nexus Gateway.
