Bangladesh Land Developers Association (BLDA) on Monday proposed the National Board of Revenue (NBR) to provide tax holiday for housing outside Dhaka to expand the sector for reducing extra population pressure in the capital.
The association also urged the NBR to keep up investment permission of the undisclosed money in the real estate sector for the next five years at least.
BLDA Secretary Nawsherul Alam made the proposals during a pre-budget discussion with NBR Chairman Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem at the NBR Conference Room in Dhaka.
