The National Board of Revenue has made temporary Value-Added Tax registration mandatory for all pavilion and stall traders participating in Dhaka International Trade Fair.
The revenue board also issued several directives for the traders to reduce the hassle and complexity of VAT collection.
The board’s public relations department revealed this information on Saturday.
The new directives regarding VAT collection at the DITF have been issued after the location of the trade fair has changed and now it falls under the Custom Excise & Vat Commissionerate, Dhaka (East) which was earlier under another Dhaka ( West) Commissionerate.
