Banglalink becomes telecom partner of ICPC World Final

Telecom operator Banglalink has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) to be the telecommunications partner of the 45th International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) World Final in Dhaka.

Under the agreement, Banglalink will provide the guests of the event with connectivity and digital facilities, a press release said on Saturday.

Banglalink Enterprise Business Director Rubaiyat A Tanzeen and BCC Director (Training and Development) Mohammad Enamul Kabir signed the deal on behalf of their respective organisations at the BCC auditorium, ICT Bhaban, Agargaon.

Banglalink Chief Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Officer Taimur Rahman, Brands and Communications Director Qazi Urfi Ahmad, Government and Stakeholder Relations Director Mehnaz Kabir, while BCC Executive Director Ranajit Kumar and high officials of both organisations were also present at the signing ceremony.

Rubaiyat Tanzeen said, “We are very pleased to form this partnership with Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC). It is a great opportunity to support a mega event with our fastest network and quality digital services.

“We are confident that our service will help the organizers and participants by fulfilling their communication needs during this event."

Enamul Kabir said, “It is our pleasure to have Banglalink as our telecom partner in this initiative. We require high-quality communication facilities to run an event like ICPC World Final.

“We believe that with the fastest mobile network and quality digital services, Banglalink is well equipped to provide such services,” he added.
