Mobile users across the country are facing difficulties as they have failed to connect to the internet through mobile data since early Friday.
However, broadband internet users did not experience such issues.
According to the mobile operators, the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission has directed them through a notice to keep the 3G and 4G mobile data services suspended across the country from 5:00am on Friday until further direction, reports UNB.
As UNB sought his comments, Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar said the 3G and 4G mobile internet services have been suspended due to some technical glitches.
“The services will go back to normal as soon as the issues are fixed,” he added.
