Mohiuddin appointed BTRC vice-chairman

Md Mohiuddin Ahmed has been appointed vice-chairman of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).

Mohiuddin, who was serving as a commissioner at the Engineering and Operations Division of the entity, replaced Subrata Roy Maitra.

The Posts and Telecommunications Division on Tuesday nominated Mohiuddin to take charge of the post, the BTRC said in a statement on its verified Facebook page.

Mohiuddin joined as the commissioner of the BTRC on May 30, 2019.
