Nine fabric and garments manufacturers took part from Bangladesh at the “Apparel Sourcing – Texworld Evolution Paris 2023”, which was held from February 6 to 8 at the Paris-Le-Bourget exhibition centre.
Bangladeshi exhibitors displayed a wide range of fashion products, along with major manufacturing countries like China, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Korea, Pakistan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Turkey, read a press release.
This show was also marked by the return of the Chinese offer, with a total of 430 companies represented throughout the show. There were 5 country pavilions of Ethiopia, Ghana, Pakistan, South Korea and Turkey.
The Bangladeshi manufacturers who exhibited their designs at the fair are– Asia Link Design, GERARD FRES, Matrix Apparels Ltd, Merchant Bay, Mohammadi Group, Sara Fashion Wear, Tex Weave/ TAD Group, NZ Denim, and Pioneer Denim.
This exhibition offers professional buyers from all over the world a sourcing platform with a wide variety of products ranging from basics to the most creative and qualitative. Bangladeshi manufacturers represented the country strongly this year, and reported numerous contacts.
Pioneer Denims Deputy General Manager (Marketing) Hasibul Huda said, “The fair was very good. We saw lots of visitors compared to any other editions in the last 3-4 years. There were visitors from all over Europe. It was a very busy and eventful fair at TexWorld Paris this time.”
Texworld Evolution Paris brings together, twice a year in Paris, a thousand exhibitors from the fashion industry. Over 3 days, many professional buyers were able to discover the 750 exhibitors gathered at the fair.
