BCI seeks FBCCI’s support for creating fresh entrepreneurs

The Bangladesh Chamber of Industries has called on the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry to support its initiatives for creating fresh entrepreneurs, developing sectors like cottage, micro, small, and medium enterprises, light engineering and agricultural industries.

BCI President Anwar-ul Alam Chowdhury Parvez made the call while meeting the newly elected FBCCI President M Jasim Uddin in Dhaka on Saturday.

FBCCI President M Jasim Uddin assured BCI of extending all out support to its initiatives for creating fresh entrepreneurs and developing small industrial sectors, said a press release.

The BCI president congratulated Jasim Uddin for being elected president of the apex trade body.

Newly elected FBCCI senior vice-president and former BCI president Mostafa Azad Chowdhury, and commerce ministry additional secretary Sharifa Khan were, among others, present during the meeting.
