Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced to increase flights on the Bangladesh-India air route from October 19 under the Air Bubble Agreement between Bangladesh and India.
The airlines will operate four flights on the Dhaka-Kolkata route every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and five flights on the Dhaka-Delhi route every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, said a press release.
The flights will leave Dhaka for Kolkata at 11 am (local time) and leave Kolkata for Dhaka at 12:15 pm. On the other hand, the flights will leave Dhaka for Delhi at 11 am and leave Delhi for Dhaka at 2:00 pm.
Negative PCR test required to be done 72 hours before arrival in Kolkata, according to the hygiene rules. After landing at Calcutta Airport, passengers will have to undergo molecular tests at their own expense.
