bKash partners with foodpanda over cashless payment

Mobile financial service provider bKash has partnered with online food delivery platform foodpanda to go cashless.

From now, foodpanda clients can use bKash for their payment whereas they had to make payment in cash to the company deliverers, according to a press release issued on Sunday.

In order to enjoy this facility, customers will have to share their bKash account details with foodpanda’s list of ‘Saved Payment Method’. Once their account details have been added, customers are free to transact cashless as per their wish.

Ambareen Reza, Managing Director and Co-founder of foodpanda Bangladesh, said, “Digital payment is fast, reliable and more convenient than cash transactions. We enabled digital payment on foodpanda years back, and now we are introducing bKash payment to ensure that a broader customer base is able to enjoy the availability of cashless payment.’’
