The ministry of commerce will observe a special service week from April 30 to May 6 to implement a special plan for ongoing Ramadan and Eid.
The ministry sent a press release in this regard on Thursday saying that it had strengthened market monitoring for maintaining the normal supply of essential commodities in the market ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Following the special week, the Trading Corporation Bangladesh will sell essential commodities to more people. The TCB will increase the allocation of products and truck sale programme.
Directorate of National Consumers Rights Protection (DNCRP) will increase its market monitoring activities, the press release stated.
It also said, the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) will set up a help desk to provide its designated services, including issuing Certificate of Origin (CO) within the application date.
The directorate of joint-stock companies and farms also will do the company registration via a single process system and coordinate the help seekers to apply online, also will do mortgage registration within two days and provide a certificate automatically to an email.
The press release also said that the ministry would continue the fertilizer distribution to every tea garden across the country and continue the online tea export license.
