A three-day-long Ceramic Expo Bangladesh-2022 will begin in Dhaka on November 24 to bring local and international manufacturers, exporters and suppliers of ceramic on a single platform.

The Bangladesh Ceramic Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BCMEA) is going to organise the expo at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital.

“Around 200 brands from 15 countries, including host Bangladesh, are expected to take part in the expo,” BCMEA President Md Shirajul Islam Mollah told a press conference at the Dhaka Reporters Unity on Saturday.

The exhibition will remain open from 10am to 7pm every day.

Talking to The Business Post, Shirajul Islam said the demand for locally made ceramic products is increasing in the global market due to quality and attractive designs.

"The expo will create ample scope for foreign ceramic manufacturers, buyers and investors to explore and invest in the emerging ceramic industry of Bangladesh," he added.
