Controversial e-commerce platform Evaly is going to resume a new campaign for selling products on October 28, after a pause of one year following the arrests of the firm’s top two officials.

On its verified Facebook page, the e-commerce firm on Tuesday announced to celebrate “Dhonnobad Utshab” (Thanksgiving Festival) which will start at 10:00pm.

Co-founder and former chairman of Evaly, Shamima Nasrin, who also rejoined the company’s board as its director in September, said, “We were supposed to begin the campaign on October 15, but the date was deferred to October 28 to provide better services to customers.”

She added, “Evaly will not sell a single product this time without making a profit.”
