Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry has inaugurated a new office building named ‘Icon’ in the capital on Sunday.
The newly-built office is located on 25, Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, Hatkhola, said a press release.
The building, financed by the government, was built on the land of the chambers under the jurisdiction of the FBCCI, aiming at facilitating growth of the trade and commerce in Dhaka.
Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury Liton, MP, chief whip of the 11th Jatiya Sangsad, inaugurated the building virtually.
The FBBCI former Vice-President Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, MP, was present as the special guest in the programme, presided over organisation’s president Sheikh Fazle Fahim.
Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury Liton said, “The FBCCI authorities concerned showed their supreme dedication to facilitate their newly-built bhaban for use coronavirus treatment center during the crisis moment of the nation to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.”
Sheikh Fazle Fahim said, “FBCCI has already taken different arrangements to assist the goal of the government as per Vision-2041.”
Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, MP, said, “FBCCI is always ready to work with the government as per its modern and strategic initiatives.”
