The prices of gold have gone down by Tk 1,050 to Tk 77,099 a bhori (11.66 grams) in the local market, Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) said on Monday.
BAJUS announced the price cut just five days after the association lowered the prices of the precious metal.
The association took the decision because of a decline in the price of gold in the global market, BAJUS said in a press release.

Besides, the price for the traditional method gold has decreased by Tk 758 to Tk 52,605 per bhori.
