The government on Wednesday extended e-commerce business time from 12 hours to 18 hours aiming at facilitating trade and commerce.
A circular, issued by commerce ministry in this regard, said e-commerce delivery vehicles will be allowed to move from 6:00am to 12:00pm.
E-commerce organisations, affiliated with kitchens of the restaurants, will stay open 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Welcoming this directives, Abdul Wahed Tomal, General Secretary of e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-Cab) said, “We are also providing identity sticker or identity card bearing the logo and serial number to deliverymen and vehicles engaged in e-commerce. So, they don’t face any difficulties on roads.”
