Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi has said that the government is finding ways to return the money some controversial companies like Destiny, Jubok and Evaly owe to their investors, merchants and customers.
“We have information that these companies have assets and liquidity. We are in talks with the relevant ministry on how to return the money to the customers using these assets,” the minister said.
“Even I have personally talked to the home minister regarding the matter,” he added.
The minister made the comment in a press briefing on Wednesday.
