Jewellery shops to remain shut Monday

Jewellers will keep their shops closed across the country on Monday on the occasion of celebrating Durga Puja, the largest religious festival of the Hindu community.

The Bangladesh Jewellers’ Association (BAJUS) came up with the decision on Sunday, said a press release.

The association requested the jewellery traders to keep their shops shut on the day of Maha Ashtami which falls on Monday, read the release.
