Shopping malls and markets across the country will remain closed during one-week strict lockdown set to be enforced from April 14.
Kitchen markets may remain open from 9am to 3pm daily in open places maintain hygiene rules while factories and industries will remain open as per new directives.
The government will impose a 7-day countrywide lockdown, starting from Wednesday as COVID-19 situation has worsened in Bangladesh in the past weeks.
