Bangladesh Hotel Restaurant Sweetmeat Workers’ Federation has announced a nationwide protest on May 11 demanding payment of salaries and festival bonus before Eid-ul-Fitr.
A press release by the organisation on Friday confirmed the matter.
The decision was made at a central committee meeting on Thursday night, it read.
Workers were living with hardship as restaurants owners still did not pay their salaries and bonus, added the release.
