Dhaka stocks bounced back on Tuesday after witnessing the largest single-day fall in the previous session.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DSEX index gained 120 points or 1.74 per cent to close at 7,005.
Shariah-based DSES index was up 16 points or 1.15 per cent to 1,482, while the blue-chip index DS30 rose 17 points or 0.64 per cent to 2,661.
Out of the 376 issues traded, 340 advanced, 22 declined, and 14 remained unchanged.
