Upay, a subsidiary of United Commercial Bank providing mobile financial services, has offered country’s lowest cash-out charge of Tk 8 for every Tk 1,000 withdrawal from ATM booth.
The Upay customers will be able to withdraw money at more than 500 ATM booths of the UCB across the country by using their Upay app. The app is available to download from google play store by clicking the link cutt.ly/upay, a press release said on Wednesday.
Upay, launched its operation on March 17, 2021, is covering all the districts and upzillas in Bangladesh.
Sydul Haque Khandaker, Managing Director of Upay, said, “Upay has already established its footprint in the MFS sector within a short time by offering the lowest fee for most of the MFS services including ATM cash withdrawal.”
Sydul Khandaker said, “Upay also offered the lowest cash-out charge in the market for withdrawal of money at agent point which is 1.4 percent or Tk. 14 per Tk. 1000.”
‘Upay’ products include mobile transaction, utility bill payment, merchant payment, inward remittance, airtime recharge, and disbursement of salary and various government social safety net allowances.
Besides, Upay offers Upay customers some unique services, including payment of traffic prosecution fines, Indian visa fee payment, and gas (prepaid) bill.
All types of bill payments are free of charge.
